Twilight Criterium | Aug. 20–21, 2021 | This world-class bicycle race draws thousands downtown and includes lots of associated activities.

Classic City Brew Fest | Aug. 28, 2021 | Enthusiasts sample craft beer from Athens and around the region at this long-running event. Celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year, the festival will be held at Hotel Indigo.

AthFest Music and Arts Festival | Sept. 24–26, 2021 | Local and regional bands play the free outdoor stages located in downtown Athens. There’s also an artist market, kids activities, food and drink and more.

Wildwood Revival | Oct. 8–10, 2021 | A grown-up, camp-out, upscale, ecology-friendly festival of music from country to rock to jazz to hip hop and more.

North Georgia Folk Festival | Oct. 9, 2021 | Enjoy a day of outstanding folk music, arts and crafts, kids activities and food trucks.

LatinxFest | Oct. 9, 2021 | Celebrate with the local Latinx community during National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Boo-le-Bark on the Boulevard | Oct. 10, 2021 | Rain or shine, show off your pup’s best Halloween attire.

Porch Fest | Oct. 10, 2021 | The Athens music scene kicks up on front porches all over Athens’ walkable intown neighborhoods for a tuneful afternoon/evening ramble.

Boobutante Ball | Oct. 23, 2021 | What happens when drag queens and drag kings collide with Halloween? Boobutante! This event is put on as a fundraiser for Boybutante AIDS Foundation at the fabulous 40 Watt Club.

AthHalf | Oct. 24, 2021 | AthFest Educates’ half-marathon highlights live music along its meandering course and is designed to showcase Athens and UGA.

Wild Rumpus Parade and Spectacle | Oct. 30, 2021 | Don your best costume and howl at the moon on Halloween weekend. Kids events, music and more.

Downtown Parade of Lights | Dec. 2, 2021 | Floats, marching bands and Santa Claus make their way through downtown and wind up at City Hall for a tree-lighting ceremony.

Indie South Fair | Dec. 11–12, 2021 | This large outdoor market of hand-crafted and functional art has several other events throughout the year.

MLK Day Parade and Music Fest | Jan. 17, 2022 | The festival and the parade through downtown are sponsored by the Athens Anti-discrimination Movement and include music, dance, speeches and vendors.

Dancing with the Athens Stars | March 19, 2022 | Local celebrities work hard with their paired dancers for Project Safe at the Classic Center.

Fluke Mini-Comics and Zine Festival | Mar. 26, 2022 | Comic and zine creators (lots of them) get together annually to share and sell their stuff at the 40 Watt Club.
